In the Rhine-Neckar region is a team of around 200 employees responsible for the commercial side of business.

Presently, we are looking for an ambitious Key Account Manager FMCG who wants to become a valuable member of the Trade Marketing team.

Organizational integration:

The trade marketing manager reports to the Head of Trade Marketing. He cooperates very closely with the Key Account Management.

Tasks and responsibilities:

The goal of the position is the implementation of the marketing and sales strategies of the company directly at the POS.

In details this means:

  • - Develop, implement and track LSMs and scorecards for key categories and brands,
  • - Develop, deploy and track BIC “ready-to-go” conceptual sells for all product launches and 4P LSM targets,
  • - Represent sales in the category teams and ensure all data are in time and complete with the sales colleagues,
  • - Lead the KAMs focusing launches and LSM gaps
  • - Ensure the optimization of the sales budget control and sales promo planning process, facilitate the delivery of category and brand objectives in all chains and with all customers
  • - Develop and deploy an action plans for European pricing and ensure proper reporting
  • - Support the Management Team with business analysis
  • - Own and lead joint promo and got-to-market strategies aligned with the category teams and sales to share best practices with all customers
  • - Drive and lead in-store innovation
  • - Negotiate the Nielsen contract and ensure accessibility for sales, trade marketing and marketing
  • - Initiate and drive category management projects with strategic customers

Profile of the candidate:

Education/studies:

  • - Academic background appreciated
  • - Educational background preferably with key aspects in marketing and sales

Professional skills:

  • - Minimum of 2 years KAM experience with large centralized accounts in an FMCG company
  • - Good 4p knowledge and proven practice
  • - Preferably consumer marketing or trade marketing knowledge
  • - MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as Nielsen Nitro
  • - Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken)
