In the Rhein-Neckar region is a team of around 200 employees responsible for the commercial side of business, most of them focused on sales and marketing activities for Germany.

Presently, we are looking for an ambitious Senior Brand Manager who wants to grow with his responsibilities and is open for an international career.

Organizational integration:

The position holder reports to one of the Category Marketing Managers.

Tasks and responsibilities:

The Brand Manager has full accountability to lead cross functional teams in the development and execution of strategies for advertising, packaging, trade and consumer promotions and the operation of the brand. In details this means:

- Determine and develop the brand strategy

- New product development and market introduction

- Develop and determine the whole marketing mix with strong focus on TV

- Ensure smooth running of the “daily operations”

- Administrative issues like forecasting, financial planning, budget control, reporting

- Determine and manage the brand P&L

- Market research and analysis

- Cross functional collaboration

- Cooperation with the global marketing organization in Slough for international benchmarking and best practice exchange

Profile of the candidate:

Education/studies:

  • - University degree or similar, emphasis on marketing
  • - Minimum job experience: 5+ years in brand management
  • - Industry: FMCG

Must haves/previous experience:

  • - Brand Management experience in a competitive market
  • - Experience in managing the brand P&L and budget
  • - Concept development and copy development
  • - Familiarity with market research and analysis tools like Nielsen/ concept testing
  • - Experience in new product development
  • - P&L responsibility
